Towards the end, it became a bit of a supernatural orgy fest with ghosts, goblins, zombies, witches, psychics, empaths, wer Aden has four souls living inside his body, not to mention his own.
Then there is Victoria the token vampire princess and Riley her werewolf bodyguard. He can take on Aden Stone himself. It took so long because I didn’t want to read such crap so I kept avoiding it. It needed to just get on with the main storyline about Aden. The twist with the vampires you won’t know unless you read intertwuned book was a brilliant move on Gena Showalter’s part.
It made me want to cry in frustration, and bang my head against something hard preferably a wall! Her whole life was devoted to making others happy.

I stopped reading and this book ended up in my inteftwined pile of to be read books. Why did I pick it up you ask? Intertwined takes a spin on all books full o One word. This just pissed me off. But, I am now an avid fan and will surely be working my way through some of her YA books I skipped over! What I don’t like: This would have been fine, if she or Riley, or anyone had been interested in getting to the bottom of what was going on with her.
Genna alone as a character without Victoria is pretty cool and I like that he has obvious struggles and his personal struggles and the struggles he has to deal with for others make a very well-written character.
Bobbi Yeah a little bit. She does not shine at writing her character’s emotions with empathy. The only problem was, it was like an anthology, lots geena mini-stories, with no real beginning or ending. Second, Since the beginning I always felt suspicious of Eve. My heart broke for her and Riley in this book, it really did. I finally did and at this time I started from the beginning as it had been so long ago since I read this book. His four housemates seemed to be the only ones with the bags of tricks.

Showalter has the unfortunate penchant of telling, not showing, and making her characters take agonizingly slow paragraphs to undergo a simple thinking process.
I shiwalter be able to make something out for you guys. It did take me a bit to get used to all the voices Aden hears, but after the first few chapters, I knew who they were and could identify who was talking, etc.
A lot of questions were raised in Unraveled. This is the continuation of Aden’s story, which began in Intertwined. There are so many plot threads flying around, yet Showalter manages to weave them all back together.
They and their relationship with Aden were the main reason I got into this series and now it’s all wrong. I was suddenly drawn in and couldn’t stop turning the pages.
